SA Dilute Championships

In the midst of his breeding duties Goldmine Illusion (pic right) made his debut in the SA show scene at the SA Dilute Championships held at Tilling Hill and we couldn't have been happier with this amazing stallions behaviour. He was a perfect gentleman the whole day and received high praise from QLD judge and breeder Leanne Owens, when  she awarded him Supreme Champion of Show!!

We also exhibited Alanavee Kelbrienne Class (pic left) who was only eligible for Ring 2 being for horses registered with other societies (APHA) and she did us proud winning the Led Mare 4 years and over class and taking out Reserve Champion Senior Palomino!

MP Urrbrae Stockade Returns Home!!

We are pleased to announce that Harley has returned home! Sadly after being diagnosed with Ringbone in 2008 he was no longer suitable for the Jenner family to continue on Eventing. When the opportunity came up to buy him back I couldnt have been happier as he has been missed! Harley will be used for Dale to ride as well as foal sitting duties.

Palomino Nationals - Bendigo Victoria

We travelled to Bendigo with Alanavee Kelbrienne Class for the 2 day show, sadly due to Equitana and a few other shows being on numbers were down and sadly there was only 1 other mare (Goldmine Shimmering Diva - full sister to Goldmine Illusion) in the Led mare 4 years and over, over 15hh classes. However we were extremely happy with Alana over the 2 days as she was very well behaved and travelled beautifully!

1st - Led Dual registered ASH mare

1st - Handler over 18 years (10 in class)

Stud Expanding

After a lot of thought and research over the last 6 - 12 months, we have decided to expand our stud.  We will contine to breed ASH horses with Thoroughbred bloodlines, a horse that is stylish, easy on the eye, calm and responsive with a good temperament, conformation & movement. We breed with athleticism, versatility and trainability in mind. Resulting in a horse which is not only suitable to use as a pleasure horse but also one that has the presence and courage we all look for in a top level performance horse. Our aim is to breed "Quality over Quantity"  resulting in 2 -5 foals per year to offer to the public. After careful selection we would like to welcome the following mares to Memphis Park!

Wedding!

Crystal & Dale tied the knot at Longview Vineyard, Macclesfield in the presence of 100 family and friends, followed by a reception at Whalers Inn, Victor Harbor. We will honeymoon aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas for a 10 night cruise leaving from Sydney up the Queensland coast!

Chalani Pacesetter sires Quilty winner!

The prestige Endurance ride, the Tom Quilty Gold Cup, held in QLD last year was won by China Doll and Meg Wade. They also won the Pat Slater cup for the best conditioned and the teams event. China Doll is sired by Chalani Pacesetter who has bred other successful endurance horses. China Doll was also 5th in the European championships in 2005 and has consistently been well performed.
